Designed and fabricated a semi-functional display model of one of my employer’s proprietary industrial valves for use at a sales conference. The project required translating a complex industrial product into a scaled physical model that accurately demonstrated key operational features while remaining durable for repeated public interaction.

Key features included:

• Opening access door with integrated magnetic latches
• Manually operated actuator mechanism
• Functional seated gate capable of opening and closing
• Detailed representation of critical valve components and operation

The completed model successfully demonstrated the valve’s operating principles in an intuitive, hands-on format, providing sales and marketing teams with an engaging tool for customer discussions, product demonstrations, and conference presentations. The project combined mechanical design, problem-solving, and additive manufacturing techniques to create a practical and effective educational display.
